Overview
Introducing CATS College in three outstanding locations: Cambridge, London and Canterbury The aim of CATS College is to encourage all students to realise their potential, fostering independence and maturity in order to prepare them for their future in the UK's top universities and as Global Citizens. CATS focus on getting to know students as individuals. Their unique approach to teaching and learning has been called 'exemplary' by recent government inspectors. They take the time to find out in detail what the students aims and potential are, and then develop an individual learning plan to support progress at every stage of your learning. Students will benefit from a very distinctive CATS College education with small classes, enthusiastic and committed subject teachers and a wide range of academic programmes. CATS College is not a traditional British boarding school, offering more freedom of choice with no school uniform, no compulsory chapel and only compulsory school age students are obliged to do sports. Students receive a considerable amount of support outside of the classroom through Personal Tutors, Heads of House and our Residential Supervisors who live within the residences throughout the year. All students benefit from individual learning plans, daily tutor sessions, weekly written assessments, free extra tuition for students who need help to meet their target grades and interesting trips, visits and activities throughout the year
