Overview

Burke is an urban, co-educational, independent, college preparatory school that provides a challenging curriculum in a warm and supportive environment. We welcome students of varied backgrounds and diverse gifts, each of whom we believe capable of important intellectual growth and academic achievement. Burke currently serves over 315 students in grades 6 - 12. The average class size is 15, and the faculty-student ratio is 1:7.
