Overview
The Jericho School is a private non-profit school for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. The Jericho School provides year round individualized instruction that is based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis and Skinner's analysis of Verbal Behavior. The Jericho School provides a comprehensive curriculum. Although we specialize in the acquisition of language and communication skills we also provide instruction for a great deal of academic, pre-academic, independent functioning and socialization skill areas. The Jericho School focuses on reinforcement in learning. A great deal of emphases is place on motivation for the student to respond. Although much of the instruction is provided in the 1:1 learning environment, The Jericho School also understands the importance for students to generalize skill into the natural environment.
