Located in central Maryland, Saint James School enjoys a rural setting while still in close proximity to Washington, DC, and Baltimore. Founded in 1842, the 800-acre campus has a full complement of new and recently renovated Georgian buildings, supporting a full program in academics, athletics, and the arts. SJS is small by design, combining a family atmosphere with big school opportunities for student achievement and growth. We seek to enroll well-rounded applicants who are eager to participate in a wide range of activities and want close and positive relationships with their teachers and fellow students.
